Do I need a hosting package to have a website?
You won't need to have a hosting package with us but you would need to place your site somewhere that people using your website address (URL) can find it on the World Wide Web. Our Hosting Packages comes complete with Plesk control panels and a host of applications that can help you get the most out of your website.
Do I need a hosting package with Flair Web Design for them to write a website for me?
No you won't need a hosting package with Flair Web Design. All we would need is access to the login and FTP (File Transfer Protocol) details and we can develop your site and upload it to anywhere you wish. However, most of our customers move over to our hosting packages eventually as they tend to be of really good value.
How much will a one page website and a hosting package cost me?
A one page website will cost £99.00 if it's a standard page. That's a one-off fee.
A standard hosting package will cost £25.00 per year, payable two years in advance.
A .co.uk domain name is included FREE
So a one page website with two years hosting in a .co.uk domain name is £149.00

How easy is it to put my own site on the web if i took a hosting package with Flair Web Design?
It all depends on your own ability, but most people if they are fairly competent with a computer, could put a WordPress site onto the net using our fully featured Plesk control panel.
If you already have a website written then you could upload it to you web-space using FTP (File Transfer Protocol), but if you get stuck then for a small charge we can upload your site for you.

I have a hosting package and you have installed a WordPress site for me. Can I update the site myself with my own text and photos?
Yes you can and we have customers who do just that.
You can also change the look of your site using the WordPress templates and with Flair Web Design you are not on your own. If you get stuck you can always ask us to help out and you will only be charged for the time we spend working on your site.

Can I install my own Forum or Contact Management System from my hosting package?
Yes you can.
There are lots of free apps that you can install with very little knowledge and a few clicks of the mouse. Of course with Flair Web Design you can, if you get stuck, ask us to help and we will only charge for the time we spend getting you to a place where you can take over again.

Do I have to have a new email address with a new website or can I use the one I already have?
You can use any email address you choose.
If you wish you can have your mail forwarded to any email address you like.

I want Flair Web Design to write a website for me. What do I need to supply you with?
Take a look at some examples of sites so we get an idea of where to start designing your site. You need to send us text about your business so we can transcribe it for the site any photography you have that you would like to see on the site. We then get to work designing your very own website.
